Two week update on being owners of Welcome Station RV Park

Today marks two weeks since our lifestyle change.  It's been a whirlwind!  Mostly a fun one, even with the long hours and hard work.  Steve is handling the phone and parking and I am learning the ropes of running a business using Quickbooks and not having much of an office!  The former owner left behind a couple of old chairs and tables, a tv cart, a small bookshelf and voila, an office!  The house was not clean, and is still in the process of becoming so but one of the renters has helped me and we've had some great times and she and her hubby have played games with us. (always a favorite of ours)  The first Sunday, we were swamped and overwhelmed and wanted to get to church but didn't make it and then that evening a fellow arrived, wanting to know if anyone played country or Gospel guitar!  Well, right there and then we had our first "house concert" in our humble abode and  we enjoyed his playing!  I did pretty well keeping up with h...

Life ....difficult and sad times.....blessings.....dreams fulfilled.....The Lord's leading.....something SOOO different! These past weeks have been such a whirlwind.  If I might have your attention, sit and relax and just read about it all here while I share with you.  Thanks...make yourself comfortable.  If your're one of our friends, who know us well, this will be an interesting story!!! Rewind to the middle of July when we are with our Wyoming friends where we spend a month a year....and we are enjoying a week long camp out with them....Such an idyllic spot and great weather and good company and fun! We had enjoyed some wonderful times around a campfire with their son, Ryan.... And the next morning he left to go to work (sheriff) .....but he returned in about 20 minutes saying that  he had been contacted that Steve's dad was in the hospital and that we should call our daughter immediately.  Steve called and his dad was not doing we...
